React Job: Associate - Entry Level- Software Engineer

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our software engineering team as a graduate software engineer. As an entry-level position, the role will offer an opportunity to work with experienced professionals, gain practical & strong experience in financial industry, and build a career in the software engineering field. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet our business requirements.

What are the minimum requirements for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as CSharp
• Knowledge of web development technologies and related architecture patterns
• Knowledge of security aspects, software development best practices, and methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Be familiar with software development tools such as integrated development environments (IDEs), version control systems (e.g. Git), and build automation tools
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL would be an advantage
• Experience with ReactJS or Angular is clearly an asset

What is your role and responsibilities?

• Write clean code and tests to develop best-in-class solutions adhering to regulatory and security standards / best practice
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve software defects and issues
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans to enable business continuity and sustainability
• Work with product owners and business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Work with relevant members of the team and other functional specialists to deliver prioritised solutions and achieve company specific career aspirations.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging software development technologies, tools, and best practices
• Adhere to software development standards and processes, including code review and version control
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process
